Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress most well-known for her role as Bo on The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she teaches drama on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending play rehearsals. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials while she was just a child. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an Actorsworkshop located in Los Angeles. In 2009, they were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. When she converted to Judaism the couple were married again in an Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron is her second child, and was born on 13th of May in 2016. Silk's work on television has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 she was cast as Bo Dennis, the lead character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans her good news that she had become pregnant while filming the final episode of season 3 in an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was presented by Showcase at an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the series' premiere. Silk was involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was first conceived on January 6 2013 on Twitter, announced that she would return to the show on June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) together with Lauren Palmer (Zoie) one of their most favored television couples. Entertainment Television.
